Éramos Seis(We were six) is a Brazilian soap opera produced by the Brazilian System of Televisão SBT and shown of 9 of May the 5 of December of 1994. Do is an adaptation romance homonym of Maria Jose Dupré, was written by Sílvio de Abreu and Rubens Ewald Son and directed by Nilton Travesso, Enrique Martins and Del Rangel. Rerecording of the novel produced for the Tupi Net and taken to air in 1977.

Based in the book of Maria Jose Dupré, We were six counts the history of Lola owner, a kind and fighting woman who makes of everything for the happiness of the husband, Júlio, and of the four children: Carlos, Alfredo, Julinho and Maria Isabel. The life of Lola owner is told since the infancy of the children, when Júlio works to pay the installments of the house where they live, in the Angélica Avenue, passing for the arrival of the children to the adult phase and of Lola owner to the oldness. As the years pass, go if modifying the things in the life of Lola owner, with the deaths of Júlio and Carlos; the sumiço of Alfredo for the world; the union of Isabel with Felício, a separate man; the ascension of Julinho, that if house with a young woman of rich =family - Laura Maria, son of Assad, master of Júlio. The heading comes of the situation of Lola owner to the end of the life, alone in an asylum: they were six, now only remains it. Also other personages are displayed, as the familiar ones of Lola: in the city of Itapetininga, São Paulo interior, lives the mother, owner Maria; the aunt Candoca; the Clotilde sisters; solteirona, and Olga, married Zeca; in the city, she lives the rich aunt Emília, sister of its father; e the children of it, Justina, a young woman with psychological problems, that if it holds as child, and Adelaide, that lived in the Europe and when returning it brings advanced ideas for Brazil of the time.

This age the fourth time that the romance of Mrs. Leandro Dupret (also author of the workmanship that gave origin to the Gina novel) was suitable as soap opera. The first one was in 1958, for the Record Net; second it was in 1967, for the Tupi Net; e third in 1977, again for the Tupi. This last version was rewritten by the SBT in 1994. * The chapters of We were Six were shown two times for night: to 19h and again to 21h30. This expedient would also be repeated in following novels of the sender, the Pupils of Mr. Reitor and Sangue of My Blood. * The actress Chica Lopes interpreted the same personage in the versions of 1977 and 1994: Durvalina, the employee of the family of Lola Owner. The actress also Read of Aguiar acted in the two versions, making participation special: in 1977 she was a charity sister and in 1994 she was Marlene Owner, mother of Júlio. * With the excellent interpretation of Lola Owner, the actress Irene Ravache came back to make novels after a removal of six years (the previous one had been Sassaricando). * It is for the time being the only novel of the SBT to receive the Trophy the Press from better novel. * Resubmitted to 18h, of 22 of January the 22 of May of 2001.
