The Equatorial Akalat (Sheppardia aequatorialis) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family. It is found in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, and Uganda. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
