[edit] Plot

Mai Kurahashi who is given an electronic notebook on her 16th birthday. However, Mai is more interested in Hiroki Himura, her anime (especially Anpan Man and even Sailor Moon) obsessed classmate, who also happens to be handsome, intelligent, and the school's star soccer player. Mai is so in love with Hiroki that even her best friend, Kojima Tae, thinks she's a bit crazy. However, Hiroki is far more interested in Haruna Shirosaki, the most popular girl in school; additionally it seems that Mai is not the only girl interested in Hiroki.

When Mai accidentally types EPOTORANSU in her electronic notebook, a surprising incident occurs. The phrase turns out to be a code that summons from her electronic notebook, a young man named Takuma. Takuma serves as an electronic genie and offers the shocked Mai the service of his powers, the ability to change her looks electronically in order to win Hiroki's heart. However, it soon becomes apparent that Haruna isn't the only girl Mai needs to compete with in order to gain Hiroki's affections. A girl named Orie Aizawa has already discovered the power EPOTORANSU and her electronic notebook's genie, a woman named Kate. Kate gives Orie the power to read people's minds and discover their secrets, giving Orie an advantage over Mai as the various girls in the story compete for Hiroki.

Will Mai fulfill her wish to become Hiroki's girlfriend? With her ability to look like anyone, it seems possible... but maybe, Hiroki will fall for the charms of Mai rather than any of her many faces!
