[edit] Intent of use

This template is intended for use in articles concerning television (or other audio-visual) series, in which a a plot or character element is described but no episode is cited. It is essentially cut-and-pasted and serves the same function as the {{fact}} template; it, however, is an in-line request that refers to the need for the specific citation of a primary source.
