Talk:Epiphone Valve Junior

First of all, this page needs some citations. It's borderline delete quality now.
Second of all, I removed all of the following, because it is entirely inappropriate for Wikipedia:

- Kerry F. of Affectronix wrote an e-book on modifying the Epiphone Valve Junior, entitled Valve Junior: Platform For Transformation . The book is full of information to allow anyone to mod their own Valve Junior into the amp of their dreams. The book includes pictures, diagrams, instructions, discoussions of amp sections, notes, tips, definitions, schematics, spreadsheets, and much more helpful information. The book is available for purchasing from Kerry F directly at his email address kerrynet32@hotmail.com . It is also available via the Indyguitarist website at http://www.indyguitarist.com/ampmods-vj.htm . Kerry is available via email all the time and will help you directly to get your VJ become a dream amp. If you need help and have any questions, email him and he will promply respond.
- Kerry F. of Affectronix also offers pre-modded Valve Juniors to your specifications. Go on his website to find out what mods are available. He has not received any complaints and has gotten nothing but great feedback on the amps. To find out more, check out Kerry's website at www.affectronix.tk

This is does not meet the test of notability, it is unsourced, contains POV, and reads like a marketing brochure for 'Kerry F.'
[edit] Both versions features 4,8 and 16 ohm outputs?
I am very certain only the head version have these three inputs.... George Leung 19:40, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure exactly what the deal with this situation is, but, if you go to the epiphone website you can see a picture of a combo valve jr. with 4,8 and 16 ohm outputs. http://www.epiphone.com/images/N_VJR4.jpg
Yet, if you go to musiciansfriend or pretty much every other store you only see the version with just a 4 ohm output. Perhaps the new version just came out a few weeks ago. I'm not sure. 99.233.37.157 (talk) 18:08, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Version differences?
Version 3 had a 5.2k impedance output transformer, which greatly improves sound quality (I'm dropping one in my V1 for this reason). Versions 2 and 3 use a DC rectifier before the tube filaments (I dropped one in my V1, massively reduced hum!). Etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluefoxicy (talk • contribs) 20:33, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
