[edit] List of epic heroes

I added some examples of the more significant Epic Heroes.(Lucas(CA) 16:58, 9 September 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Categories

I'm not a Wikipedia editor or anything, but I think someone should give summaries of Epic heroes from different time periods and the general differences between them, ex. Medieval Epic heroes. 74.166.50.213 (talk) 23:46, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Merger Proposal

As Epic poetry is mainly a list of epics, and much of this article focuses on the oral nature of the epic, I suggest merging this page to be part of the Epic poetry page. 81.153.169.5 20:07, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Because this is a very important mythological archetype, and supported by Wikiproject mythology, I am taking off the merge idea. I think it should should expand on the epic hero archetype(s) in comparative mythology, and has a key place in that category.Goldenrowley 18:30, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
