Episcopal Diocese of Northern Michigan

The Episcopal Diocese of Northern Michigan is the Episcopal diocese in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was organized in 1895.
The diocese is one of the smallest, in number of congregants, in the Episcopal Church of the USA. The diocese is headquartered in Marquette, Michigan. As of 2007 there are 27 churches in the diocese. A list of these churches can be found here [1].
As of October 2007, there is no current bishop in this diocese. Jim Kelsey, the bishop of the diocese until June 2007, died in that month in a motor vehicle accident.
