The Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, is the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America with jurisdiction over the counties of Kings, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk, which comprise Long Island, New York. It is in Province 2 and its cathedral, the Cathedral of the Incarnation, is located in Garden City, as are its diocesan offices.[1]

The Rt. Rev. Orris G. Walker, Jr., is the seventh and current bishop of Long Island. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, a Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree from General Theological Seminary in New York City, a doctorate in ministry from Drew University, a master of arts degree from the University of Windsor, Ontario, an M.B.A. from the Graduate Theological Foundation in South Bend, Indiana and numerous honorary doctorates.[2]
