Epipogium is a genus of 3 species of terrestrial achlorophyllousmyco-heterotrophic orchids. The genus is sympodial with no root. Leaves are scale-like. Flowers are not resupinate, arranged in terminal racemes. Stigmas are 2-lobed and the rostellum is ventrally situated and not prominent.
