Epiphone Genesis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Genesis was an electric guitar produced by the Epiphone guitar company in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was aimed at the budget market, and — like many other Epiphones at the time — was manufactured in the Matsumoku plant in Japan.[1]
It was available in three models: the Standard has no binding, and the fretboard has dot inlays; the Custom has binding and block inlays; and the Deluxe has double binding and trapezoid inlays. All models feature two humbucking pickups, two volume controls and one tone control, and a DPDT switch used for coil tapping. The Genesis also features an elongated headstock with 3 + 3 tuners, 22 frets, a front-mounted output jack, a Tune-o-matic™ bridge, and stop tailpiece.
