The result of the proposal was Move to Ephialtes. Duja 13:06, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
The subject of this article was not Ephialtes of Athens in Greek (he would have been called after his deme) or in English (no scholarly references at all.) I would prefer to move him to Ephialtes, most of the incoming links to which are for this man (and most of the rest to the giant), but would accept Ephialtes (statesman) or some such. - Ephialtes as nom. Septentrionalis 04:59, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ephialtes is best title, as the Athenian politician is the most notable figure of this name. The giant doesn't even have his own article, but is at Aloadae; the Ephialtes who handed Thermopylae over to the Persians is at Ephialtes (traitor). --Akhilleus (talk) 05:05, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ephialtes is the apppropriate title. The traitor of Thermopylae is an interesting figure in a Herodotean anecdote sort of way, but isn't really in the same league as the man who founded Athenian radical democracy. When I say "Ephialtes", I'm talking about this one, and I think the same is pretty much universally true. --RobthTalk 05:09, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. Ephialtes or 'Ephialtes (statesman) is Ok with me.--Yannismarou 12:22, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ephialtes, as nom, particularly if someone checks that all the giant references get piped to Aloadae - Aquilina 12:23, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ephialtes is best.--Aldux 12:38, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
