EOI Business School

EOI Business School, created in 1955, was the first school offering business administration training in Spain, and one of the oldest in Europe.[citation needed] For more than five decades, EOI has taught over 50.000 students. The school is pioneer in the transmission of business management and organizational skills, and has played a role in the modernization and professionalization of Spanish economy and industry.[citation needed]

EOI offers Graduate Programs for young professionals and Executive Masters for professionals with over five years of experience, as well as a number of other programs and specialized courses within the areas of Business Management, Technology, Innovation, Environment, Sustainability and Communications.

EOI is a member of several Business Schools Associations at a national and international level. It is a founding member of AEEDE (Spanish Association of Business Management Schools) and of EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), an active and associate member of RMEM (Mediterranean Business Schools Network), and an associate member of CLADEA (Latin American Council of MBA Schools) and AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).[citation needed]

In addition, EOI-Business School has obtained the ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001 Certifications, as an evidence of its commitment towards the quality of its programmes and to environment.[citation needed]

In EOI Business School special attention is given to the international scope.[citation needed] Through a number of cooperation agreements with universities and business schools all over the world, EOI implements different programmes and activities so that students and teachers can enjoy an authentic international experience. In addition, EOI has close collaboration with the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), which results in a joint edition of the publication “Innovación” the MIT's Innovation Journal: Technology Review). This year, 2008, EOI organizes Global Startup Workshop, a business creation forum, with MIT. Madrid, March 26-28.

EOI's graduate programs are aimed at young graduates with or without professional experience. Every program is designed to enhance the students´ personal skills, improve their employment opportunity and encourage team work in a competitive environment with real-life pressure, as well as providing them with a contact network of teachers and future colleagues.

The School's main site is located right in the core of Madrid University Campus. There is a second site in Sevilla, Andalucía. Madrid benefits from the underground, a method of transportation. Madrid and Sevilla are also connected by the AVE (High Speed Train), which covers the distance between both cities in two hours.
