[edit] Summary

Picture of Alabama 4-H Environmental Science Education Center at the 4-H Center in Columbiana. This is a water-color depiction of a building that is projected for completion in 2008 and that will be operated by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and, therefore, is considered in the public domain.

[edit] Licensing

Used with permission of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.

An architectural firm's watercolor rendering of the 4-H Environmental Education Center, used in this context to illustrate the facility, which is projected for completion in 2008.

This image may or may not be subject to copyright (no copyright was listed in publication, which is now almost 30 years old).

I believe its use is covered by U.S. fair use laws for the following reasons:

  1. It is the only available rendering of a significant public building projection for completion within the next year.
  1. The photo is being used only for informational purposes.
  1. The picture was included at the urging of the development office of Alabama 4-H.
  1. The inclusion of this rendering adds significantly to the section on 4-H because it illustrates the important role this building soon will play in the delivery of Alabama Cooperative Extension System-sponsored 4-H programs.
