Environmental Memory

The concept of Environmental Memory is described as the sum of explicit, persistent and structured data of knowledges, models and scientist expertise linked to an environmental observatory system on the long term in order to facilitate the access, the sharing and the reusability. [Guarnieri & al., 2003]
An implementation of the notion of Environmental Memory is realized by the open source project called Emios.
