[edit] Voting
I've given up, I'm a retired editor now. Leon Alistair (Talk|UserPage)
PS. no one has gotten medals in a long time, I haven't been arorund to do it, and with the taskforces in ruin and to leader to take my place no one will... sorry, oh and we did do things for the glory. Leon Alistair (Talk|UserPage)
[edit] Recognition
Here is a segment from the talk page portion of the AdventureQuest RPG article where you posted your question. I took the liberty to put it here to ensure you get our responses.
For a few months, I've been keeping up with the AdventureQuest article and done very few minor edits such as updates and word corrections. So far, the heavy editors are the ones who get recognized. How about the ones who helped even though it's a bit small? ~~Enterprise-1701e~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Enterprise-1701e (talk • contribs) 22:54, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed, no one is getting metals or awards for being a "heavy editor". They just do it because they care about the article, not for the glory.ɫ§Veonyx§ɫ talkto me 00:22, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 14:33, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] About Searlec and the voting
Searlec has not edited Wikipedia since June 24, 2007. He is most likely no longer active on Wikipedia. The voting thing was from before I started working on AE articles and is no longer going on - at least as far as I can tell. I plan to clean up the whole project and get it started again fairly soon. I just need to finish some stuff with the articles and find some spare time to work on it. --Eruhildo (talk) 17:42, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
So, who'll restart the project? 22:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- I will - so far it looks like I'm the only regular editor in the project with longterm experience on Wikipedia. I originally was going to try to restart it on April 1 (about two weeks after I sent messages to old members to see if they are still interested), but I may not make that date. But it won't be too long after that. I should have internet at home again soon, so I'll be able to edit a lot more often. That will speed things up. --Eruhildo (talk) 18:17, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- We should probably restart the AdventureQuest Taskforce too since that has not been edited in I don't know, forever. Or we could just get rid of it altogether since I happened to join it when I found it and there are only 3 members, including me. ɫ§Veonyx§ɫ talkto me 23:28, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- I go along with it as long as Eruhildo leads the group. Hehehehe... Captain | contribs 11:18, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Same here. By the way Enterprise, check the AQ talk page. I have answered your question on the "sweep". ɫ§Veonyx§ɫ talkto me 23:10, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks a lot! Captain | contribs 23:46, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Adoption
I noticed you're looking for someone to adopt you - would you like me to? I've been here on Wikipedia a while and have become familiar with many of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Even if you don't want me to adopt you, I'll be happy to help with any questions you have. --Eruhildo (talk) 03:14, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok. I'm still trying to know and remember all of Wikipedia's policies, but I don't have time because I'm still looking around each AE article for minor corrections. I can't handle major ones such as editing the whole article because I'm not currently playing DragonFable or AdventureQuest. Captain | contribs 03:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
-
- Don't worry, I don't know all the policies either. They're something you learn over time by needing to use them - and good portion of the MOS you'll never use (there's a lot of MOS pages specific to certain WikiProjects). Just want to make certain, is the ok for my adoption offer or my offer of help? --Eruhildo (talk) 18:49, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
-
- Sorry about that - MOS is short for Manual of Style, which is basically the (large) collection of pages that say how articles should be formatted, written, etc. WP:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines is the Manual of Style page for the Video Games WikiProject, which the AE project falls under, so I reference it a lot on the talk pages for the AE articles. That MOS in turn references to other MOS pages that cover certain things in more detail, like under Naming convention it links to WP:Naming conventions. That way, none of the MOS pages contradict each other. You should definitely at least look through the Video Game Project MOS - it will help a lot with editing AE articles. --Eruhildo (talk) 23:54, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I don't really notice it when I go to the talk pages for the AE articles. That's why I just improvise everything I do as the days go by. =D Captain | contribs 01:28, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The new and improved Wikipedia:WikiProject Artix Entertainment
I've just finished going through and cleaning up the entire project. It is now ready for active use. Please note that the project userbox has been moved to {{User WikiProject Artix Entertainment}}. --Eruhildo (talk) 19:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

- I assumed myself to be the current leader as I have been the one getting everything together. Plus I have more experience on Wikipedia than any of the other members (I've made almost as many edits just to mainspace as everyone else combined, and I've been editing for longer as well). --Eruhildo (talk) 21:11, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

- 20 to AdventureQuest, 26 to Artix Entertainment, 44 to DragonFable, and 68 to MechQuest. If you want to see my record of edits, it's here - it's got the top few articles I edit listed. (Interiot's tool is great!) --Eruhildo (talk) April 3, 2008

- On your posts - you know, how the posts line up on the left (which is detirmined by the number of colons (:) you put in front of them). Normally when you reply to someone's post, you put one more colon than they put to make it clear you're replying to them. It makes it easier to follow discussions. (Yay, I remembered to sign this time!) --Eruhildo (talk) 22:31, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Updates on the AQ article?
What exactly do you mean by "updates"? ɫ§Veonyx§ɫ talkto me 22:54, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Uhhh...It seems to me that the AQ article hasn't been touched for a while.I wish there were pictures of the classes so other people know what it looks like, including me. I haven't played AQ for a long time. Captain | contribs 01:16, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Hmm... that is a good idea but to include pics for every class will take up a lot of room and it will look messy. I will check with Eruhildo to see if there is a way to include the pics (I can upload all of them) into the class tables we have set up. We'll see...
- ɫ§Veonyx§ɫ ~Talk to Me~~My Acts~ 23:56, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- How aboout a new page? At least we cut down on the article's length. Captain | contribs 13:04, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
I don't think there are enough classes or enough info. on them to include a new page. Eruhildo said it was a good idea, and it would take up a lot of room in the boxes. He suggested that I only include a few class armors in which I have, one armor per section.

- ɫ§Veonyx§ɫ ~Talk to Me~~My Acts~ 01:07, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ok. That's fine with me. I'll just keep looking around for corrections.
