Talk:Entomophagous parasite

[edit] Parasitoid Insects

This would be a far better title for the article as it only talks from some length on the subject and not on any of the multitude of insects that prey on other insects and that by extention are also entomophagous, while the final paragraphs would be better inserted in the articles or sections about social insects and on insect reproductive strategies. [edit] contradictions

This article has numerous contradictions, in re: article states adults "always lead free lives", yet cites Strepsiptera, which frequently live inside their host. Article's lead sentence implies all insects that are parasitic on other insects are entomogphagous, but then states criteria which are clearly contradictory in many exemplars which follow.

Article devolves into a hodge-podge of definitions and examples of different types of parasite. It appears a shotgun approach to defining parasites, and as such is extremely confusing and in desperate need of refinement. Can an expert help?Nickrz (talk) 00:26, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
