Talk:Enteropeptidase
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
PDB 1EKB is from the cow, but as this article is about enteropeptidase in all higher lifeforms, perhaps we can use it to illustrate the article. JFW | T@lk 18:56, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
The article had really good information, but was very technical. I put in a layman-level paragraph regarding the psysiologic function of the enzyme, and tried to make it something one could relate to. Thoughts on the appropriateness of this? Also, though the enzyme is not a kinase, it is still referred to as enterokinase in a great number of texts, especially medical ones, included recently published ones. I think its too early to simply change the name and be done with it. For the time being, though one name clearly makes more functional sense, this enzyme has two names.
