Entertainment Studios

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Entertainment Studios was a television magazine talk show hosted by Byron Allen. The show was typically in one-on-one format with Allen sitting across the celebrity whom he interviewed. Guests were often athletes or actors/actresses who recently released a movie. A poster relating to the guest's profession would be the dominant decoration, hanging behind the guest in an otherwise minimal arrangement of two people conversing in two chairs. For example, an actor whose movie is to be released would sit in front of the particular movie's poster. Guests have included Bill Cosby, Reggie Miller, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Edward Norton, among many others. After Entertainment Studio's on-air run, Byron Allen went on to host Entertainers with Byron Allen, a similar if not identical talk show program.
