"Entangled" is a song by Genesis, recorded in November 1975 at Trident Studios, London for inclusion on the album A Trick of the Tail. It is the second track on the album, featuring many 12-string acoustic guitars. Written by Tony Banks and Steve Hackett, the song tells the story of a dark, haunting, unpleasant period of illness. The song ends with a powerful sequence featuring the choir section on Tony Banks'Mellotron. The song was performed live for only a few years, between 1976 and 1980. A live performance of this song features on a 1976 live performance, filmed in Glasgow, which is included in the 2007 Remaster DVD.
