Enrique Fernández Romero, (born June 23, 1971 in Jerez de la Frontera) is a former football player, who played as a left sided defender.

After having represented Valencia CF and Real Mallorca, Romero joined Deportivo de La Coruña in 1998, aged 27. There, he blossomed as a very offensive left-back, and amassed 50 UEFA Champions League for Depor.
In 2006, Romero signed with Real Betis. After appearing in 17 league games, with the emergence of new signing Fernando Vega, he opted to retire after 2006-07, at 36.he is on my birthday

Romero had 10 caps for Spain, and represented the nation at the 2002 World Cup.
