Enrique Estrada

Enrique Estrada (1890 - 1940) was a Mexican General, politician, and Secretary of National Defense.

He allegedly sought to spark a coup against President Plutarco Elías Calles, was arrested by the FBI in 1926 while visiting San Diego, California, and jailed in the United States for 21 months.

The city of General Enrique Estrada, in the state of Zacatecas is named after him.
