Enoch Cook

Enoch Cook (April 23, 1845 — April 14, 1927) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played for Derbyshire. He was born in Sandiacre and died in Long Eaton.

Cook debuted for Derbyshire during the 1878 season, making his first appearance against Kent. Cook represented the Derbyshire team in three further matches during the season, the first of which saw the team come out victors by an innings margin.

Cook continued to represent the team the following year, making his season debut against Marylebone Cricket Club, and he made three further appearances in County matches before hanging up his gloves at the end of the season, his final appearance, coming against Nottinghamshire, resulting in an innings defeat for Derbyshire.

Cook was an upper-middle order batsman for the Derbyshire team during his short spell at the club.
