[edit] Couple of points on the plot (spoilers)
Although I can see Wigram pretending to hunt for Claire, to preserve her secret, and even keeping her "dead" if she was no longer useful, I don't see why he lied to Tom about the importance of Tom in tracing the traitor.
Though - Leveret is Wigram's right hand man in the latter part of the novel - could Wigram have been involved in bringing Tom back to Bletchley ? -- Beardo 05:08, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
