Have you got the tags wrong? Each of the two pages suggests merging with itself, rather than the other one! PamD 11:34, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- we are working at same time - hope no chaos ensues. I've made one article from best info and moved to correct name. PamD 12:09, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hey been working
Hi EnglishRose, can you give me a quick opinion some time on this article Suikoden (video game) if you get the time to sneak a look, I did an overhaul of this particular article, took long enough. Also can you clarify to me if RPGamer and RPGdreamer.com would be considered "reliable sources"? I know that CNET, IGN and Gamespot are considered that but I'm unsure of those two. Cheers in advance! [edit] Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Elonka 2
Thank you for your support in my Request for Adminship. Unfortunately the nomination did not succeed, but please rest assured that I am still in full support of the Wikipedia project, and I'll try again in a few months! If you ever have any questions or suggestions for me, please don't hesitate to contact me. Best wishes, --Elonka 01:01, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] re: Adam Boyd image
I don't know about any criteria to keep the picture, but I think it should be kept because it helps improve the article. Maybe if you make a request at WT:WPF someone there might know of some. Kingjamie 20:19, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Aladinbookofcool.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Aladinbookofcool.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NAHID 21:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Elonka 3
Thank you for your continued support in my latest, and finally successful, RfA. It was definitely a dramatic debate, that landed on WP:100! I paid close attention to everything that was said, and, where possible, I will try to incorporate the (constructive) criticism towards being a better administrator. I'm taking things slowly for now, partially because of the holidays and all the off-wiki distractions. :) I'm also working my way through the Wikipedia:New admin school and double-checking the relevant policies, and will gradually phase into the use of the new tools. My main goals are to help out with various backlogs, but I also fully intend to keep on writing articles, as there are several more that I definitely want to get to WP:FA status! Thanks again, and have a great new year, --Elonka 05:39, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Stephensonvscheltenham2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Stephensonvscheltenham2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:23, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spam in Kick in the Ass
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Kick in the Ass, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Kick in the Ass is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Kick in the Ass, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 19:00, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Kick in the Ass
I have nominated Kick in the Ass, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kick in the Ass. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ZimZalaBim talk 19:23, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi Englishrose. Why not merge the KITA content into the biographical article on Herzberg. The concept is mainly associated with him, and the bio article needs more content. You could probably create a redirect page that would link specifically to the KITA section. Nesbit (talk) 16:02, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Charlie Buckton (Home and Away)- Afd
I just thought i would let you know that i have taken the article Charlie Buckton (Home and Away) to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for a Deletion debate.
