[edit] Primeval (TV series)

I recommend that you ignore the activities of User:Nubula until after a decision has been made on your 3RR report on the matter. I am sure you do not wish to fall foul of WP:3RR yourself. User:Nubula appears to have some sort of personal agenda, or perhaps a conflict of interest, otherwise why would a user risk being blocked like that? Clearly, the link in question is inappropriate for all the reasons we have suggested so I am sure one of the Wikipedia Administrators will do the right thing and resolve this silly edit war sensibly. -- Scjessey (talk) 15:52, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Karloff Frankenstein Picture

Yeah, that's a shame. I thought that was a supremely wonderful shot of Karloff in make-up and that it really served to drive home points in the various articles, particularly the Lugosi entry. Unfortunately, though, now that I've looked at them, Wikipedia policies make it so difficult to use any image, the contributor has to jump through so many hoops, that Wikipedia must stand as basically a non-illustrated (or very temporarily illustrated) encyclopedia. I wasted a couple of hours late last night scattering that shot around appropriate articles but from now on, I'm never going to even contemplate touching another picture for Wikipedia under any circumstances. I'm a word man myself anyway rather than a primarily visual one and it's sadly silly for me to waste a moment dealing with any illustration in this environment. While I'm at it, I'll stop contributing to Wikipedia altogether.Slingbat (talk) 16:12, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Nice one!
