EnGrande is an online reservation service operating from Spain and founded in 2003. EnGrande provides reservations for independent hotels, hostels, Bed and Breakfast, apartments, at the target price of €30 per person per night. Currently the company is operating via 18 destination-focused websites, which include cities such as: Barcelona, London, Madrid, Rome, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest and Buenos Aires.

EnGrande, was founded in 2003 by John Erceg, with the principle of providing simple, fast and secure online booking for independents travellers. The company pioneered the “Urban30’s” concept and stands out from other online accommodation providers by offering unique, independent, well-located budget accommodation at a specific target price per person, per night. The company’s headquarters are in Barcelona, Spain; with a branch in Dublin opened in February 2008. Currently the company consists of 40 employees, from a total of 20 nationalities.

The EnGrande portfolio is characterized by 1, 2 & 3 star hotels, hostels, apartments, bed & breakfasts and other types of accommodation branded with a budget price and a great service value. According to Engrande’s mission statements the company provides “instant online bookings for the dates you require in the location you want - no fuss, no delays”. Currently the company handles: 10,000 worldwide online reservations every month and 44,000 rooms night processed per months and growing. The company sells its products directly through its websites and its call centre that is located in Barcelona, Spain. The actual numbers of destinations offered by EnGrande is rapidly growing; in the first quarter of 2008 four new destination-focused websites have been launched: Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Budapest and Vienna. New launches for the second quarter of 2008 include New York, Sydney and Stockholm.
