[edit] Please expand

Hi to everyone this article is a starting page for Lacrosse in England. Please feel free to add more information. Ozdaren 10:57, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

There seems to be some confusion on web based sources as to when lacrosse was 1st played in England. The ELA lists this as happening in 1876, however many other sources indicate this to be 1867. Any clearer leeds? Ozdaren 00:40, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

What happened to the NELA and SEMLA? Are they no longer separate organisations, been subsumed by the ELA? Thrapper 15:15, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

NELA and SEMLA still exist. SEMLA's site is http://southlacrosse.org.uk and is very up-to-date. The NELA doesn't have a site and mainly uses the ELA website for its information. Danieljamesscott 10:41, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lacrosse

I am trying to make the article Lacrosse more neutral. It is currently US centric and does not adequately reflect the global nature of the sport. Have your say Talk:Lacrosse#Lacrosse v USA lacrosse Ozdaren 10:10, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Page rename?

Would it be a good idea to rename this page "Lacrosse in England" (like the Lacrosse in Australia page) which covers the ELA as one of the sections? Seems like the topic of the page is the sport in England, not just the association which governs it. Thoughts? Thrapper 21:07, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

I don't support that. If the article became more generic in nature it would warrant it. I must admit as the originator of the article I'm disappointed that more English lacrosse supporters haven't run with it and created a better page. I only created it with info from articles I found on the web. Ozdaren 06:45, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
