Steps for updating this article:-
- make it more generic. presently it's 2007 based.
- search for more references across the web.. for news paper articles. etc and reference accordingly
- put public domain images of important events. and put the engineer logo .. make a table similar to NITK article
- list events and workshops in wikipedian style. Presently it's more of a promo
