Engel is an industrial metal band with alternative and melodic death metal influences from Gothenburg, Sweden. They are currently signed to SPV/Steamhammer Records and have released their debut album Absolute Design via the label on October 31st, 2007. The album will see a North American release on May 20th, 2008[1]. The band have shared the stage with such acts as Still Remains[2] and toured Europe with Amon Amarth and Dimmu Borgir[3]. The band is most notable for having several members from other successful Swedish acts, such as The Crown, Evergrey and Gardenian.
