Orphaned non-free media (Image:4 men.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:4 men.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:17, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

I am having a look over it at the moment. Woody (talk) 16:48, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Right, a few notes.
- Date formatting: WP:MOSNUM. The convention is to wikilink dates so that autoformatting can take place. (Disputed by some)
- What is "Central Coosa" as in "For his his career at Central Coosa" I am not an American football fan so this just comes out of nowhere, I would suggest some context for it.
- Same for "Tuck frequently encountered double-team coverage."
- "had a spectacular game" bit POV?
- Can we have some more on his personal life, it would bring a bit more balance to the article.
- The lead needs to have a bit more info on his football career and probably and move the family stuff out of the Lead. The lead should be a summary of the article, everything in it should be in the article. (Could probably cut out some of the cites as well, there are 5 of the same cite to a paragraph, bit of overkill.)
- A copyedit never hurts ( I can do one if you want).
Other than that, it is looking quite good! Good work. Of course, if you have any questions, just ask! Woody (talk) 17:09, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Mark Bland removal...
I am not sure exactly your purpose as profeesional wrestling editor taking down the page of a wrestler like MARK BLAND that has expounded his career beyond the ring. Unfortunately, you have done so with out justification. The material on the page was relevant and up to date. His work with music artist and others including Randy Orton of the WWE garners that he be included. Also he still currently works with TV stations as an on-air personality in St. Louis.
There are more pointless and unsubstantiated pages on Wikipedia than this one, but you have chosen to take it down for no apparent reason. Could I please be given a solid reason? —Preceding unsigned comment added by S968339 (talk • contribs) 04:25, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:!Riki.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:!Riki.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page.
This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Check your sources from now on...
Fair enough... But that TV show is not on Cable Access...It's on CBS, just like that super popular Cable Access show called "CSI". And don't forget about that other cable access show..."The NCAA March Madness Tournament". Come on dude. Don't be that guy. The one that attempted to be successful in Pro-Wrestling, but couldn't make it..so you have that misery loves company attitude. Well, congrats dude, you control wikipedia...Wow...Well when it is all said and done my young 22 year old high school graduate, I still have all my accomplishments and you don't. Stop pestering me please and have yourself a boring and fantasy driven life of what could have been one. By the way, I will give regards to all those prowrestlers you idolize while I continue to be on my CBS show and host my mainstream (that means you can hear it in your car, not just online) pro-wrestling/MMA radio show. Wow you are a sad dude. Don't worry I won't be bothering you ever again. Hate on that.

Possibly unfree Image:!WMXXIVticket.JPG
An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:!WMXXIVticket.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Kelly hi! 01:36, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use Image:Killcheerleaderbandphoto.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Killcheerleaderbandphoto.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 03:53, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

I wrote the following at the AfD for Dorothy Ruth: Worldcat says the book is in at least 200 libraries in the United States. That probably makes it notable. See Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Creative_professionals, which includes the criterion "... had works in many significant libraries." --Eastmain (talk) 01:33, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Response to Refdesk question
Hi there, very sorry to hear about that. This book looks like a good one. It's called "The Orphaned Adult" by Alexander Levy [2], and this is the blurb for it:
"The Orphaned Adult" validates the wide array of disorienting emotions that can accompany the death of one's parents by sharing the author's heart-felt experience of loss as well as the moving stories of countless other adults."
Hope this helps, and my heartfelt sympathy to all involved. PeterSymonds | talk 16:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Happy to help. PeterSymonds | talk 17:02, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
I put my response on the Ref Desk, so here's the link: [3]. StuRat (talk) 20:07, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- A bit more on the above suggestion: The "Five Stages of Grief" are outlined and detailed in the book On Death and Dying (1969) by Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, based on her work with terminally ill patients. This may provide some insights and perspective. My sympathies to all who go through this... -- Deborahjay (talk) 20:14, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- And further: A Google search of "coping with bereavement" will bring up what look like some helpful sites. Even gleaning the religious denomination-specific and mental health resources may provide meaningful content. And perhaps this will be a supportive process for those of your mutual friends who are "pre-need" (as the saying goes). Comforting others has benefits for all concerned, so I'm optimistic you'll all grow from this. Take care, -- Deborahjay (talk) 07:18, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Also posted to refdesk:
- Good search terms, when you can get to a usable internet connection, are "grief" and "bereavement". This is from GrowthHouse, Improving Care for the Dying [4] -- American, but probably similar in other developed countries:
-
- Call your telephone operator and ask for the numbers for your local mental health association and your local suicide prevention center. Both types of agency have good grief referral lists. You need not be suicidal to get a grief referral from a suicide prevention center.
- Use the Yellow Pages and call hospitals and hospices near you. Ask to speak with the Bereavement Coordinator, Social Worker, or Chaplain's Office to get a local grief referral. Many hospitals and hospices provide grief support to clients for up to one year following a death and offer groups to the general public.
- These can be goldmines of relevant information, and may even have lending libraries. TJ is lucky to have friends like you. Good luck! BrainyBabe (talk) 12:18, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

... as shown in this diff, was not funny. In fact it was very uncollegial. If you have issues with the candidate you should raise them in a constructive manner, not by using terms like you used.
