Does this now contain enough information to upgrade to an article?

[edit] Painfull Accuracy in the Motorcycle Section

IMHO the Motorcycle subsection is painfully accurate. Especially the brand specific comments. I wonder if others view these statements as opinions or fact. I say leave the content as is and thank you for recording the facts.

While i appreciate the effort, its really going to have to be completely rehashed (it's on my long term to do list!). The stuff may be true, but its not really NPOV, and considering the shortness of the article is not appropriate to introduce or explain (ie encyclopedic) enduros. Pickle 16:00, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

I find some of the information to be false, such as the very last comment made about hare and hounds. The original usage of "hare and hound" originates from the course captians being chased by the racers as they threw out bags of lime to mark the course. Some of the sub catagories should be stubbed and replaced by more information about the differences between East, West, and European enduros and the machines. A lot of time has been put into the entry but it smells of one mans opinion...so-to-speak. I already forgot 14:25, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] American Centric

I know most editors of an English encyclopedia will be from the States, but this is again drifting form an explanation and encyclopedic entry to a US (or even East Coast) description of the sport, especially the bikes. Pickle 16:00, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Accuracy of the introduction

is "whereby a number of stages are raced in a time trial against the clock" (the third line) an accurate description of time card enduros, as it isn't a time trial at all, only the special test are really and fundamentally an enduro is decided on the going which isn't a time trial, just ensuring you complete that check in the exact time specified (no more, no less).
