The Endeavor Talent Agency is a Beverly Hills, California based talent and literary agency, representing actors, writers and directors for film, television and video games. Currently, there are around 200 staff /client member.
Endeavor Talent Agency is one of the Big Five, the big five talent agencies in Hollywood. In addition to their California headquarters, Endeavor also maintains an office in New York City. Its marketing division, of which Interpublic owns a minority stake, packages third party content for distribution, like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy for Scout Productions, Alias and Joan of Arcadia. [1]
Endeavor formed when a group of agents left ICM in 1995, including Ari Emanuel. Ari Emanuel is the basis for Entourage's Ari Gold.
In an episode of Entourage, Ari Gold is looking at a new extremely large new office space which he will purchase with the severance package he received after leaving his old agency. He says 'This new office will make the Endeavour building look like a fuckin Dunkin Donuts!' The irony is that Endeavour is the agency Ari Emanuel formed after leaving ICM.
In early 2006, the New York Post and Gawker Media blog Defamer reported rumors of ICM purchasing Endeavor [2], although the rumor was denied via leaked internal ICM memo. [3] However, in July of the same year ICM announced that it had acquired the boutique literary agency The Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann Agency for a reported $70 million [4].
The Beverly Hills Endeavor office was designed by UCLA Professor and world famous architect Neil Denari with wall graphics by 2x4 of New York.[5]
