[edit] This looks great!

Be nice to see this embraced, sponsored and polished by Wikimedia and/or Apple. Provides an impetus for reviewed/checked Wikipedia version releases and perhaps a means of funding them. Rebrand it as WikiPodia?

Yeah! The iGuide!

[edit] Hard drive control

Having just downloaded and installed this, I am very impressed but have one reservation: the viewing software doesn't seem to be able to stop the hard drive spinning. This has two major disadvantages. First, it eats battery faster. Second, it makes the drive itself more likely to fail or be damaged. It will stay on my iPod and I will be using it but I will do so less often and more carefully than I would otherwise because of these drawbacks.

[edit] iPod 5g Support

This article claims that Encylopodia will work with all iPods, but the source page says it only works up to 4g. Can anyone verify these claims?

--I'd also like to know if this is true

On the FAQ page, it states that 5G is not supported. This has been the case for a long time, and I'm beginning to doubt whether it ever will be supported. Robinson weijman 09:24, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

63.194.217.238 is the one who put in that comment. If the site still says only up to 4g, then he probably didn't know what he was adding. Finnegar 07:54, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Getting the latest Wikipedia

Is it possible to create your own Wikipedia.epodia? Now the latest version availiable is from May 2006. Would be cool if Wikipedia created a daily copy of everything.
