Unofficial district? I'm pretty sure its official. -- Eric 23:39, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)

The degree to which L.A. city neighborhoods are officialy recognized is a major topic in its own right. But it is sufficient for this article to say, as is usual for similar areas, that it is a neighborhood of Los Angeles, and leave the "official/unofficial"-part out of the article. -Willmcw 00:49, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] More demographic info?

Encino is known for being an overwhelmingly white, upper-middle or upper-class neighborhood (north and south of Ventura, respectively). Is it heavily Jewish like Sherman Oaks and Studio City, as well? Is there anywhere I could go to find this out--the L.A. Almanac, maybe? --Slightlyslack 02:18, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Richard Pryor's death

People are taken to Encino hospital and die there every day. Given the high concentration of notable show business figures in the area, some of them will die there. We can't list them all. It's beyond trivial. Crunch 14:12, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] February 23, 2007 edit

Someone deleted John Wooden, who lives in Encino and the library I've been to. Two entries were questionable - The one with a "Ryan" in it and Tom Petty. I deleted those but someone please check my work. Ronbo76 04:02, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

I deleted "Averell Byrd" international man of douchebaggery. Moomoo2u —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.157.229.198 (talk) 04:05, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
