| Purpose of use |
The entrance gate was the most iconic structure of the theme park. The photo is being used for informational purposes and to illustrate the subject of the article about that theme park. As such, the photo contributes significantly to that article. |
| Replaceable? |
The gate has probably been demolished when a shopping center was constructed on the grounds of the theme park, but if it is still standing it would be in a severly deteriorated state. A new photograph of today's condition would not serve to illustrate either the entrance gate or the theme park it related to during the period of significance (1955-1997). The only alternative is if someone is willing to upload, under a free license, a self-made image taken well over a decade ago. |
