Encom Technology is a company whose primary interests are the development, support, and consultation of software products that are aimed at the mining and exploration of natural resources industries. Products include Encom Discover and Encom Engage which are the major plugins for MapInfo Professional.

On December 18, 2007 Pitney Bowes acquired the previously unlisted Encom Technology.[1] This followed Pitney Bowes acquisition of MapInfo earlier in 2007.[2][3]
