Encheloclarias is a genus of catfishes (order Siluriformes) of the family Clariidae. It includes six species, E. baculum, E. curtisoma, E. kelioides, E. prolatus, E. tapeinopterus, and E. velatus.[1] This genus is endemic to Southeast Asia.[2]

Encheloclarias is often found deep within the substratum of peat swamps.[2]

This genus differs from Heterobranchus and Dinotopterus in lacking extensions of the neural spine supporting the adipose fin.[2]
