Enayet Hossain

Enayet Hossain is the student and son Ustad Hamid Hossain (U.S.A) a renowned music teacher based in the United States. Enayet migrated with his family to the United States at the age of 5 and started his initiation in learning the tabla at the age of 7. He has accompanied and played tabla with some of the greatest of Indian classical music, including Ustad Vilayat Khan, Pandit Jasraj, Salamat Ali Khan, Ghulam Mustafa, Shujaat Khan, Budhaditya Mukherjee, Bhajan Sapori and many other musicians. He is based in the United States and has been producing Indian music based computer cdroms and dvd roms. Under his company, he has released Tabla Vol.1- A journey into eastern percussion and will soon release Sangeetpedia-An Encyclopedia of Indian Music based on cdrom. Enayet has a degree in Computer Science.
