Fehmi Emre Güngör (born on August 1, 1984 in Istanbul) is a highly rated Turkish defender. His full name is Emre Fehmi Güngör. He played for Ankaragucu from 2004 to 2007. His outstanding performance allowed him to be the captain of Ankara Giants at the age of 23. This young center back is one of Turkey's biggest hope for future International competitions, and is considered as being the next Bulent Korkmaz. On January 1st 2008 Güngör officially signed for Turkish club Galatasaray. Rumours state that Galatasaray's closest rivals Fenerbahce SK also wanted the player, however, they failed to sign him.
