Emperial is native Floridian who currently lives in Miami, but dreams of moving to Canada. She is also a digital artist whose work can be viewed at DevART. She welcomes supportive comments and very, very benign critiques. While she is quite good at giving constructive criticism, she admits she is not yet well-versed in the art of receiving it. Perhaps with practice.
A compulsive grammar whore, she mostly runs around Wikipedia fixing typos and spelling errors. She makes plenty herself, but this is mostly because she types far, far too fast and hasn't gotten around to buying a Dvorak keyboard yet. Also, she owns a giant graphics tablet which takes up most of her desk and as a result, her keyboard is in a really funky position.
Though she is a grammar whore, she enjoys making up words. She also seems to like typing in third person. Clearly this is a sign she is descended from royalty. If you listen to her, she's an Empress. Her official title (again, according to her) is the Empress of the Unknown Universe. Where is the Unknown Universe? We may never know.
Emperial is also a very, very silly creature. She loves British comedy and science fiction. Her sense of humor has been described as "disturbing" and "unnatural." She adores Asimov and Douglas Adams and misses them both very much.
She currently lives with a cat, Alderaan, who is an adorable trooper. Even when she had a nasty abscess she was still cute and sweet. Unfortunately, Emperial and Alderaan may soon part ways, as Alderaan may go to live with Emperial's parents.
During the first twenty years of her life, Emperial was obsessed with the number 126 and could not figure out why. Then, on January 26, 2006, she was hit by a car at approximately 6:20pm. Quite possibly it was 6:21 exactly. Coincidence, or proof of precognition? You be the judge.
