[edit] Unamed Discussion
Someone needs to add information about the Art of Conquest expansion pack which added the space age and many new campaigns. I'm too busy!Halidecyphon 15:09, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Somebody must continue adding more to this page for the good of EE fans.
I cleaned up much of the page today. I felt that information on Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest belongs on the page dedicated to it and therefore took the information about the campaigns and placed them there. Thunderforge 04:17, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AOE Link Banner
I don't know why this was here, someone probably was confused. It was the template for links of all AOE games, so I deleted it. Someone can revert if it I missed the reason it was there-Hairchrm 18:40, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
- Empire Earth used to be in it, but I think someone trimmed down the navbox.--Clyde Miller 19:34, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's what happened. Yesterday, I took out all the "similar games" from the AoE template (which included Empire Earth), but I forgot to check which pages were using the template. Thunderforge 22:46, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- That's okay. I made a new navbox for Empire Earth games anyway.--Clyde Miller 22:54, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deleted Cheates
Okay, I know that the cheat codes are a bit of a tradition here on this article, but I've decided that it's best to delete them. StarCraft is an RTS game like Empire Earth and its article recently became a Featured Article. I think that it is a great model for all RTS games. The StarCraft article doesn't include cheat codes, therefore I've decided that cheat codes do not belong on the Empire Earth article. Thunderforge 01:03, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
A history of the multiplayer of ee would be a nice addition.HISTORY This was created by one of the early and continuous players who played multiplayer and maybe a few excerpts from there could be added? I wouldn't mind creating something from that post to add to the wiki page if no one objected.
[edit] Population
it states that houses are not needed to increase the population limit. Then what does? Im sure you have to build something or do something in order to let you create more units.
- Population in Empire Earth works differently than it does in Age of Empires (and similar games). Population is at its max from the beginning of the game (i.e. if the population limit is set for 100, the player can only have 100 units at a time, although additional units may be acquired through conversion). Building the "Colosseum" wonder increases the owner's population limit while lowering that of another players. Hope that helps! Thunderforge 21:01, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- What happens when you destroy the enemy's colisseum while their population is full? The population limit then drops but then what happens? Do random people die?--72.79.126.240 04:41, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- If a player's Colosseum is destroyed, the players units still remain, but the player cannot train any more. A player can still gain units if they are given to him in a scenario or by converting enemy units (since in both cases, more units aren't being "trained"). Thunderforge 19:47, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What?!
I never remember there being a "morale" system in EE
- That's what houses and heros are for. Ever notice the green dotted circle around any of your units? --Mosquitopsu 02:04, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Scenario Editor?
This article does not mention that Empire Earth (both the first and second with their respective expansions) have a powerful scenario editor that allows the user to build maps, civilizations, intricate things like setting up triggers and events, and pretty much do anything they desire. This is a big component of Empire Earth and one that has contributed to its huge success and popularity. I'm not sure if theres already another article devoted to it's Scenario Editor (Ive looked), but there should be at least a mention of this capability.--Xlegiofalco 22:34, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Zero Wing Reference?
Recently, a trivia section was added and it explained the "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" cheat and it's reference to Zero Wing. Personally, I don't think it really belongs here, but I wanted to ask others, especially since I'm probably a bit too overprotective of this article :-) Also, it's already listed in List of cultural references to "All your base are belong to us".Thunderforge 23:47, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- I played EE for a long time, and was constantly typing the "all your base" mantra; never had it resulted in a resource bonus. True, I may have mistyped while entering the phrase, but the only tried-and-true code I remember is "My name is methos", which grants the player a ridiculous amount of each resource, lifts Fog of War, and grants instant prodcution and building.
[edit] Languages
I can roughly determine the style of language for each era.
Prehistoric- maybe Germanic?
- ziegréano
- pa'ama
- gengehá
- ya-cha
- guiyérna
Stone through Copper- Greek-based
- Talás
- Kalos (either Kahlos or kaylos)
- yyyyyyoyyyyyat-CHEE!
Copper onward- English
- While that does seem interesting, I don't really think it belongs in the article. Thunderforge 21:26, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
can anybody understand what the soundtrack says? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.38.10.208 (talk) 22:24, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding Game Guide Material
Hi, I'm the dude who was working on Empires: Dawn of the Modern World (the cousin of this) and I'm not sure if I tagged this or not, but it might be good to decide what is too game guidish for this article. Nothing in particluar seems deletion worthy, but it's a little overdetailed in the gameplay. Maybe something like
- Gameplay
- PP1=overview
- PP2=epochs (no huge detail of each one. Maybe a sentence and a name.)
- PP3=technologies
- PP4=nations (could be combined with PP5)
- PP5=Wonders (may want to get rid of)
I'll try an do some myself and remove the tag. I've never played this particular game in the series, but I'll it'd be cool for it to reach GA. Clyde (talk) 04:45, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mobile Game
Can somebody add to the platforms Mobile Phone Game because it is also for mobile phone. I should know, I have it on my phone.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.166.29.21 (talk • contribs)
- Well you can add it in, but it is already mentioned in the legacy section and at top of the article above the text. In fact, it has its own article, Empire Earth Mobile.--Clyde (talk) 17:56, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. I aplogize for removing the spaces in front of your first message, but it messed up the formatting of the page.
[edit] GA
Congratulations, you were successful in your GA nom, and this is now a good article. G1ggy! 01:55, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My previous referencing
civs ref - for civilizations it is the current page with the rest on the next page by clicking on the arrow. You may need to squint to see them but they are clearly visible (if you find a clear list of civilizations (hard to find) then you can exchange the reference). CircafuciX 06:03, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Incorrect Redirect
The link for "Sergei Molotov", namesake of the Molotov Cocktail redirects here and probably shouldn't! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.223.4.43 (talk) 00:10, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- That would be Vyacheslav Molotov (see Molotov cocktail). Sergei Molotov is a character only in EE. This is what the article looked like before it was redirected.--CM (talk) 01:22, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
