Empreintes DIGITALes

empreintes DIGITALes -- a record label founded in 1990 and based in Montreal -- specialises in contemporary electroacoustic music, acousmatic and musique concrète.
In 2005, empreintes DIGITALes shifted from CD to DVD-Audio. DVD-Audio offers very high fidelity sound, with its 24-bit encoding, and the immersive sound space of home theatre’s Surround 5.1.
