[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Emily Rose User Image.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Emily Rose User Image.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:55, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Images
Thanks for the comics characters images! :) I hope they're able to "stick", because images do tend to get deleted pretty quickly around here if the fair-use rationale isn't "good enough". I'll add some more to the task template when I find them, so if you need something to do, there's always that. ;) BOZ (talk) 23:24, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
Removed the Moira MacTaggert argument, because it ended and I was proven right. If you want to see amusing arguments regarding my fanatacism for a secondary character, you can look back in the history of this page and the Talk of that article. EmilyRose (talk) 14:36, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mactaggert 3.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Mactaggert 3.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 14:27, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Updated, and thank you! EmilyRose (talk) 20:14, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Imperial Guard pictures
Hiya. :) I'm not going to list these on the task template, since the articles have currently been redirected, but there are a few such characters: Earthquake (comics), Electron (comics), Oracle (Marvel Comics), Flashfire (comics), Hobgoblin (Imperial Guard), Magique, Pulsar (comics), Mentor (comics), Fang (Imperial Guard), and Scintilla (comics). If you want to be bold, you could try reverting the articles and putting the pictures up there, or if you like you can add them to List of Imperial Guard members or Imperial Guard (comics). Thanks again for all the cool pics - they really liven up the all-text articles! :) BOZ (talk) 03:20, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
I'll get right on it! I've still got all of my Starjammers and Dark Phoenix Saga sitting on the desk from the last few, they'll be no problem to find and scan! And I agree, text-only entries are somewhat dull. EmilyRose (talk) 13:58, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Marvel Pictures.
Hi, I was told that you are in charge(or at least your the main person) who has been adding images to marvel comics character's articles, and I just wanted to tell you that if you needed any help at all, I will be happy to help. To tell the truth the most I could do so far was add pictures that I have found over the net, so I am really glad to hear that someone is uploading their own scans for those not so popular characters. So if you need me to find something just ask, so lets try to get every article at least one good picture 8-).-- Phoenix741(Talk Page) 15:51, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- O and for the record you won't be able to add images to List of Imperial Guard members, I tried doing that for the List of S.H.I.E.L.D. members and it all got reverted 8-/.-- Phoenix741(Talk Page) 15:53, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bishop Comics.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Bishop Comics.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:30, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

I have started a new page to address the issue of Marvel articles without images. BOZ (talk) 15:38, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
