[edit] “aliisque de iustis ac rationabilibus causis Nobis notis”

Could we include a translation of this phrase, please... I know it is sad, but fewer and fewer people speak Latin these days. :>) Blueboar 19:32, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

I'm looking at it again and it doesn't make sense. My Latin is non-existent so my attempt "because we note that some of reasonable right" could mean anything. I'll get rid of it shortly. --JASpencer 23:52, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Title

The title Eminenti Apostolatus Specula is incorrect in two aspects, I believe: conventionally, only the first word is capitalized in a papal bull, and no words are omitted. It is also a general convention that incipits are of two words, not including minor words, thus correctly In eminenti apostolatus: I do notice that the Latin text at Papalencyclicals.net just gives In eminenti; the compilers must be giving unusual weight to in, one can only suppose.--Wetman 19:01, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
