[edit] Biographical note from PD work

I have quoted Dr. Wilhelm Bernhardt's biographical note verbatim and in it's entirety. The introduction is from the same book as the illustration and is therefore in the public domain.

I must admit that Dr. Bernhardt's note violates NPoV. I would ask for the assistance of a more experienced editor who may be able to intersperse direct quotes from Dr. Bernhardt with suitably neutral joining text.

I'm also a bit hazy on the appropriate way to cite the book this quotes from. I've merely included a verbatim reference. A draft of the PG edition can be found here http://baqaqi.chi.il.us/buecher/german_literature/eingeschneit/html_edition/eingeschneit.html
