This photo shows one of three cats with whom we share our house. The other two are an orange tabby domestic shorthair and a tri-colored tabby with a medium length hair. They are all of mixed breeds from the same litter which we found as kittens playing in the street of our sub-division late one evening.

This is the first in a sequence of images I captured when Emily was playing with a cat toy. Later in the sequence, you will see Squeaker, the orange tabby, who comes to see what the noise is all about.

Cats have incredible amounts of curiosity. In this photo, Emily is satisfying her curiousity about what I've been stepping on by sniffing my foot.

The photos were taken with an old Kodak DC-50 digital camera with less than a megapixel of resolution so are somewhat poor in clarity and detail.
