Emir Spahić (born August 18, 1980 in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian football defender.

Currently, Emir Spahić starts for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team. Emir scored his first international goal in a 2-2 tie with Japan on February 28, 2006 at the Signal Iduna Park stadium in Dortmund, Germany. On the club level, Spahić is active for the Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier League. Over the course of his career, he has also played for Russian clubs Torpedo Moscow and Shinnik Yaroslavl as well as Croatian side NK Zagreb.

His father, Ramiz, is originally from the Montenegrin stretch of Sandžak, and his mother, Fatima, is from Gacko, Bosnia-Herzegovina (both regions formerly in Yugoslavia). They were both working in Dubrovnik, where they met and formed a family. Emir has a younger brother, Alen Spahić, who is also a football player. Emir is currently dating Emina Hadžić, whose father is one of the wealthiest men in the Balkans.
