Emina Jahović (Serbian Cyrillic: Емина Јаховић, born January 15, 1982, in Novi Pazar, Serbia, Yugoslavia) is a popular Serbian pop singer of Bosniak origin. She is known as Emina Türkcan in Turkey after her elder brother Mirsad Türkcan, a naturalised Turkish basketball player. She comes from the majority-Bosniak Sandžak region. She is married to Turkish singer Mustafa Sandal.

She has completed basic school of music, performed in the choir of her hometown and took part in the local folklore. While in high school, she took part in several theatre performances, including Antigone. Since some of the roles included singing, she realized that singing was her real passion.
In 2000, she won the youth festival "Zlatna staza" (Golden Path) in Montenegro, with the song "Samo ti, moja muziko." In 2002, Emina participates in the Bosnian Eurovision pre-selection BH Eurosong with the song "U, la-la."
"U, la-la" was the introduction to her debut album "Tačka" (Dot) composed by famous Bosnian singer and songwriter Dino Merlin. The album reached a high popularity in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and other Former Yugoslavia states, Most popular songs from the album are "Tačka", "Osmi dan" (Eighth Day), "Kad si sa njom" (When You're With Her), "Odbojka" (Volleyball).In 2002, the song "Osmi dan" was awarded the "Silver Hit" award at Radio Fest BIH 2002. In 2003, she won a "Golden Star" award at the "Oskar popularnosti" awards show held in Sarajevo.
In 2003. She participated in the "Sunčane Skale" festival in Herceg Novi, Montenegro and won the third place with her song "Uzalud se budim". That made her one of the most popular artists in the Former Yugoslavia states. She took part at the festival again in 2004 with the song "Voljela te il' ne voljela".
In 2005 she released her second album called "Radije ranije" for one of the largest Serbian record labels, "City Records". It included the songs "Radije ranije", "Tvoja greška" and the mega-hit "Da l' ona zna". Her reputation suffered somewhat after she signed as a composer her song Nije više tvoja stvar (It's not your thing anymore) when in fact the song is a Turkish Zehir gibi sung by Zeynep Dizdar.
Emina is 5'10" (178 cm) tall and she is also known for her Penelope Cruz look, and has been approached by many foreigners in Sarajevo, who thought she was Penelope. Emina is currently a student of management at the "Braća Karić" University in Belgrade. Emina is also the official face of the Macedonian fashion label "Kara".[1]
She has been famous in Turkey particularly for being the girlfriend Mustafa Sandal and an alleged lover of entrepreneur Serdar Bilgili.[2] Emina and Sandal got married in İstanbul on January 13, 2008.[3] And they are expecting their first child in early August 2008.
