Emilio de Gogorza

Emilio de Gogorza (1872-1949) was a Spanish-American baritone.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York, but he sang in many languages, including French, English, Italian, and Spanish. He sang with Enrico Caruso a Spanish song (canción española) called "A la luz de la luna" (In the moonlight). He later recorded the same song with Tito Schipa (in 1928). He died in 1949 in New York, New York, from lung cancer.

Among his pupils are composer, Samuel Barber.
