Emil Liston

Emil S. Liston (born August 21, 1890 in Stockton, Missouri, USA; died October 26, 1949) was a basketball coach and administrator. He coached the Baker University basketball team from 1930 to 1945. He was also the creator of the NAIA college basketball tournament and a close friend of James Naismith.

He was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame as a contributor in 1975.
